Fresh Baked Beer Bread and Loaded Baked Potato Soup!

I hope this rainy Monday morning finds you all feeling well rested after a wonderful weekend!  It's very chilly up here in the Motherlode today and some hot fresh Beer Bread and Soup is sounding sooo good to me!  I love a good hot bowl of soup on a wintery day, just warms the soul!!  Homemade Gourmet has many soups to offer, this being on of my favorites.  This particular soup mix comes in a double pack, which makes it nice to have in the pantry!  We also offer three other breads along with our delicious Beer Bread.   Just click on my Homemade Gourmet site to the right to start your shopping!  You'll also find many wonderful recipes there as well!


Below I have included the Loaded Baked Potato Soup recipe.  It's so simple, anyone can prepare this.  You can also add your choice of vegetables for a fresh and delicious soup!  

Fresh Baked Beer Bread
Beer Bread Product # 01.5100 $6.00
Nothing welcomes family and friends to the dinner table like the aroma of fresh-baked bread.  This mix is not only easy to prepare but can be the base for a wide variety of fresh-flavored breads and muffins!  All you add is beer or milk, cheddar cheese and butter.  It makes one loaf or about 18-20 muffins.  


Loaded Baked Potato Soup
Baked Potato Soup mx #02.9010 Double pack $12.00

1    Homemade Gourmet® Baked Potato Soup Mix  (#02.9010)
5  tablespoons  Homemade Gourmet® BLT Mix  (#05.9006)
1  cup  milk  
4  cups  water  
1  medium  potato, diced  
    a dollop of sour cream  

Directions
1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
